**Baby update - Mommy is 7 weeks and 3 days pregnant! Your baby's leg and arm buds are longer now and they have divided into segments where the hands and feet will be. The hands and feet also have an area where the fingers and toes will begin to form. At this point of your pregnancy, the heart is bulging from the body and it has divided into right and left chambers. The brain's hemispheres are continuing to grow and the air passages into the lungs are visible. Your baby's eyes are beginning to get pigment. The nose is developing and the beginning of the face can be seen. The baby's abdomen is developing quickly and the appendix and pancreas are already present. Your baby's digestive tract is beginning to for.**

Happy Memorial Day! I am enjoying my last day of a 3 day weekend with my kids. I am really beginning to notice some pregnancy mood swings! I am so excited about my appointment this week, that means I'm one step closer to seeing the doctor. Only part that I am not looking forward to is I can't find anyone to watch the kids and Jerry insists on coming to this appointment. Nothing new on the pregnancy front . . . just getting by.

So I called the doctor's office today during my first break. It was kinda exciting. . . I had to walk out to the truck to call because I didn't need anyone overhearing my conversation.

I chose the Rockhill Woman's Clinic in Lee's Summit to be my prenatal doctor's. So I should be delivering in St. Luke's Lee's Summit Hospital. They like to see their new patients around weeks 7 and 10 of a pregnancy. So my first appointment is June 3rd at 9:30 am. The first visit is with a nurse and that's when all the information is taken about my family and health histories. Blood work and urine samples are also taken at this appointment. A week or so after the initial appointment, I go back and actually see a doctor.

I'm really excited, hopefully my sister in law can watch the kids that morning so that Jerry can go with me. If not I'm not to worried about it. But I don't think it's an appointment that the kids need to go to. But I also know that Jerry's never missed an appointment yet, and I don't think Baby #3 is going to be different!

**Baby Update - Mommy is 5 weeks and 2 days Pregnant! The plate that will become the heart has developed. Your baby's brain, spinal cord, muscles, and bone formation are also beginning to form. The baby's skeleton is forming at this time as well. The embryo has a distinct organization that has a top, bottom, left, right, front and back.**

It's been a busy, busy week here. Chloe graduated from preschool - I am so very proud of her! The entire family was down to see us and it was so hard to not bust out and tell everyone. But it's really to early for that, especially after what happened last time. Hopefully soon, after we get the thumbs up from the doctor.

So far there's been no new symptoms. . . just the frequent running to the bathroom! But they always say morning sickness starts at about 6 to 8 weeks.

Happy Mother's Day to Me!! I got a BFP!

So it's official. . . Baby Daily #3 is on the way!

Background information - Jerry and I started discussing when to start "trying again" last summer. Of course, he wants a huge family and well, all I know for sure right now is I wanted more than two. :o) So my last package of Birth Control Pills was finished up at the end of December 09. I got a positive pregnancy test on February 3rd, I was estatic!! On our very first cycle of trying to conceive we did it! But sadly, the celebration was short lived because I started miscarrying three days later on February 7th. I talked to the doctor and he said that I wasn't miscarrying. . . In fact I had what is called a "Chemical Pregnancy". Which is when the egg is fertilized but fails to implant. Which could be a result of chromosomal problems in the fetus. So I was pregnant long enough to get a positive pregnancy test but not long enough for a heartbeat. Which strangely put me at ease. . .

So on to the next cycle we went. Cycle #2 was very informing because I took OPK tests, which verified that I was actually ovulating - which is awesome if we wanted to concieve. Cycle #3 was a total bust because I was sick most of the time. And it was an unusually long cycle for me (35 days). There was no hope of a 2010 baby.

Cycle #4 was are homerun and with the New Year, there will be a New Baby!! I tested with an internet freebie on May 7th and the line was so faint it disappeared before I could get a second opinion (or a picture). So I waited a few more days - the pregnancy hormone, double in value every 2-3 days. Mother's Day morning brought me a definately BFP!! (Big Fat Positive)

Yay! So obviously, the only two souls that know are Jerry and I. I'm going to try and call the hospital tomorrow to see which OBGYN's are around here. I got a lot of ground work ahead of me. . . but the hard part is over, right?!?! :o)
